The venture is already supporting key operations nationwide, including site development at LIMA and TARI Economic Estates; heavy equipment rental and maintenance for AP Renewables Inc.’s MakBan Geothermal Power Plant; shuttle services and light vehicle maintenance for Aboitiz InfraCapital; and shutdown equipment support for an HPAL nickel processing facility in Surigao del Norte.

As Aboitiz Construction’s fleet and asset solutions business, ACI Rentals provides heavy equipment, light vehicles, and fleet reliability services for construction, industrial, and infrastructure operations. Its portfolio includes earthmoving and roadworks equipment, specialized construction tools, heavy-duty tractor heads, utility vehicles, commuter vans, and buses for employee shuttle and field transport.
But the opportunity goes beyond simply renting out equipment.
ACI Rentals offers structured fleet maintenance and repair services to help keep assets operational and ready for deployment. This integrated approach enables the business to support assets throughout their operational lifecycle, combining equipment availability with technical expertise and maintenance support.
To manage its growing fleet, ACI Rentals uses digital asset tracking and lean operating practices to monitor asset health, optimize deployments, and maximize available resources. This technology-enabled approach supports more efficient, scalable operations while aligning with the Aboitiz Group’s ambition to become a “techglomerate.”
Sustainability is another area of opportunity. ACI Rentals has the capability to convert traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) forklifts into 100% electric vehicles and is exploring fleet electrification partnerships across other Aboitiz business units. These initiatives can help reduce emissions while extending the useful life of existing equipment.
